Chapter 1
Azazel ApproachesAzazel is walking down the hall of her dormitorium. She found her dorm, opened the door and exclaimed, “A fresh new start.” The dorms were large. Much like that of a master bedroom. There was two in one with a thin wall separating the two rooms. And a corridor that had doors to the two rooms. Azazel’s was on the left. She was gonna get settled in before meeting her dorm-mate.
As she was setting up, she heard knocking on her door. She opened it, and was greeted with a short, voluptuous wolf girl. “H-hi.” The girl said, “I’m Ally.”
“Azazel. I assume you're my dorm-mate?” Azazel asked. Ally nodded.
“I’m not the only one.” Ally said, “I do have a roommate.”
“Oh? Maybe I could meet them.” Azazel said, slightly excited. Maybe Ally’s roommate is another cute girl? When Ally came back, she was hiding behind a tall lamb-girl. Azazel waved, “I’m Azazel, and you are?”
“Ainsley.” The lamb said, “You're a goat.”
“And you're a lamb.” Azazel said with a bit of snark, “Anyways, it was nice meeting you two. I have to finish unpacking.” Azazel waved them bye and went back to unpacking. She eventually stopped due to exhaustion, and fell asleep on her bed.
Azazel woke to a slightly panicked knocking. When she opened the door she was greeted by Ally who was holding a tray of freshly baked cookies, “A welcoming gift.” She said as she gave a warm smile, “May I come in?”
“Of course.” Azazel stepped aside to allow Ally in. Ally sat the tray on the nearest clean table she could find. “Sorry, I fell asleep halfway through unpacking…”
“It's okay. Ainsley did the same thing.” She giggled, “She also said that i shouldn't go near you…”
“Why’s that?” Azazel sat down in a chair. Ally was quick to do the same. Ally said, “She said it's because you're a Halfling, and I’m a Full.” All love Azazel previously had for Ainsley instantly left. Azazel sighed, “Is that true?” she asked. Ally nodded.
“She said it's cause Halflings are ‘Impure.’” Ally continued, “And that your impurity will rub off on me.” Azazel ate a cookie. She could feel her blood pressure rise. The thought that she has to share a dorm with someone who is eídoistic, sickens her, “She’s wrong.” Azazel finally said. Ally nodded, “I think so too. You seem like a nice person.”
“Thanks kid.” Azazel gently scuffed Ally’s hair. Ally smiled warmly, “Have you ever heard of eídoism?” Azazel asked. Ally shook her head, “What is that?”
“Well— it's where someone believes that their species is better than another.” Azazel continued, “Like how Ainsley believes Fulls to be better than Halflings.” Ally looked like she was deep in thought, “Maybe we can all have a talk so Ainsley can see that you're just as nice as me and her.” Ally said with great enthusiasm.
“If only it were that simple.” Azazel remarked.
Azazel was startled awake by her alarm clock. She nearly fell off her bed… maybe she fell off her bed, maybe. Azazel exited her room to the corridor and found a hunched over Ally quietly weeping. Azazel approached, “Hey.” She said with concern, “Are you okay?” Ally gently shook her head.
“Wanna, come with me to get breakfast?” Azazel said, Ally nodded, “Let’s go then.” Down at the cafeteria, there weren't many people as the two awoke sometime at 7. Azazel got beacon, toast, and eggs. Whilst Ally just got a normal breakfast sandwich. The two sat down at a table.
“Tell me what happened.”
“Ainsley yelled at me.” Ally said, “She said really horrible things.” Ally began to tear up.
“Did she hit you?” Azazel asked, Ally hesitated, and then shook her head, “Is that the truth?” What was Azazel saying. She just met Ally yesterday. Why does she care so much? Ally hesitated, and then shook her head. “If it makes you feel comfortable, you can sleep in my room tonight.” Azazel said. Azazel is realizing that she might have feelings for Ally.
Ally knocked on Azazel's door. She had a cot, blanket and pillow, as well as a large, stuffed, pink unicorn. “Come on in.” Azazel helped Ally set everything up, “So, what’s the importance of the stuffy?”
“Raina was given to me by my mum.” Ally said.
“I also have a stuffed animal,” Azazel grabbed a patchwork bunny-bear, “She was given to me by my father.”
“Azazel?” Ally’s face was practically buried in Raina.
“Yes?”
“Can I snuggle with you?” Ally asked, “Instead of sleeping on the floor?” How could Azazel say no to the adorable thing that is Ally? She couldn’t. So, Azazel allowed her gay heart to speak, and she nodded yes. Ally climbed onto her bed, with her stuffy in hand, and snuggled up against Azazel. Azazel turned the snuggle into a cuddle though.
Azazel’s alarm clock didn’t go off when she woke up. She attempted to wake up Ally, but instead, Ally just groaned, latched onto Azazel’s arm, and said, “No go.” Very quietly. Azazel being Azazel, obliged and stayed cuddling with Ally.
However, the cuddling was cut short by an angry knocking at the door. When Azazel opened it, Ainsley stood fuming in front of her, “You- you have a bit of… RBF.” Azazel’s clever remark only seemed to make her angrier. “Where is Ally?” Ainsley demanded. Ally poked out from behind Azazel.
Ainsley went to grab for Ally but Azazel stopped her, “I know what you did yesterday.” Azazel said angrily, she began to advance on Ainsley, pushing her further into the corridor, “And if you ever lay your hands on Ally again, Karma’s gonna collect her debt.”

I stumbled my way here by accident a few weeks back and have been meaning to comment since.
What I found is very sweet. And I love the mix of sizes you give to the different characters. (Typically, wolves are the big, fearsome ones, for example.) Also stories that deal in realistic abuse often don't give it a very serious treatment. What you wrote here is a happy exception.
I'm also curious about your use of the term 'eidoism' (a search for that term didn't turn up much) so I'm wondering whether some spiritual leader (or region, or historical period) or something named Eido. I would also read on to learn what everyone is studying at the campus, and more about Ainsley, like how long she's known Ally, and whether she's truly beyond saving and how Azazel might have to handle her in the long term.
Anyways, lovely writing. If you decide to continue with it, great! Let me know how/if I can help.

Eidoism is a made up term for the story universe. Eido being greek for species. Basically means speciesist. It is the belief that your own species is superior to one or both of the other two.
Thanks for the lovely comment, and I hope to seeyou back whwn chapter 2 is finally released! Also, Ido agree with the abusive relationship part. Azazel is extremly protective due to past events that we'll get into in chapter two. So things might get messy, might not. Stay tuned to find out :3c
