This is Shanti, my five-month-old Siamese mix kitten that I adopted from the shelter I work at. As you can see from the picture, in addition to being stunningly gorgeous she is special in that she is missing one leg. She had to have it amputated at a very young age because she had injured it somehow prior to ending up in the shelter.

Shanti gets around just fine in spite of her minor handicap. She's now Squeak's playmate. I need to get pics of the two playing together to post here :D
