My pet rests on top
With my day now behind me;
What more could I ask?
He snores quite loudly,
And yet I shouldn't complain;
At least he is here.
My stomach gurgles
When he rests his against mine;
In or out, what bliss.
This is haiku form,
Lazy poetry for us
Two lazy lizards.
I have written five
After writing this last one.
Charem, write one more?
Charem:
I hear Master's heart
Warmly beating under me.
Such bliss to rest here...

In case you haven't noticed, the majority of my submissions today have focused on my pet Charem, this being one of the few in which we can spend a quiet, relaxing time together, just the two of us basking in peace. Having my Charem curled up in my lap each night makes me feel like this almost every night, and I thank the stars each day for being blessed with this little guy. How I landed such a wonderful little charmeleon as him I'll never know, and I could never begin to describe the numerous ways having him as my pet has touched my life. Aside from my mate, I don't think I've ever loved someone more, and after over three and a half years, our bond just seems to keep getting stronger despite all we've been through. This one's for you, Charem, and don't you forget to let me forget to thank LustBubbles artistically for such a nice piece of work. :P
(This was apparently named by LustBubbles after a History Channel program she was watching. I like it, so I'm going with it. :P )
