Thank you! This was my first try at drawing Basil or Olivia (at any age) and I think (thanks to the help of some reference pics) it turned out pretty cool :)
And yeah, I figure after that adventure she had at such a young age, she's probably likely to develop a penchant for daring and chance.

I don't really think those two worlds are connected. In the Rescuers and the sequel, the mice are anthropomorphized a little bit, only wear a few articles of clothing, and the places they work and live reminded me of Kids Next Door and their 2x4 technology. With the Great Mouse Detective, they are more human like, they are fully clothed and they basically live in mouse size rooms that you expect a human to live in. But that is just my thoughts on it.
Grown up or not, there is still an age difference. I can see those two working together again but there would be nothing romantic between them. That said, I love the design here you did for Olivia. You made her older yet you stayed true to the character. In other words, I'm glad you didn't turn her into Miss Kitty.
Impressive! Olivia would have made a wonderful partner/rival/foil for ol' Basil! And I really like your take on her older self.
I may have mentioned this elsewhere, but supposedly the only reason The Great Mouse Detective was green-lit by Eisner was because the directors convinced him that the feature could be used to sell a possible "Basil" TV series. The movie was made, but the series was never produced, though I was told that significant elements were later worked into Chip 'n' Dale's Rescue Rangers.

Excellent work! A beautiful job of "growing up" Olivia. They would make a fine and formidable pair.
Think of the recent film Sherlock Holmes with these two as the stars.
BTW, don't sweat the revolvers. They actually look a lot like the ones in the film.
Besides, English handguns are renowned for being among the most ugly firearms on the planet.
They only hold together because, if they failed, Her Majesty would not be amused.

She Looks Simply AWSOWE And Fantastic! A Master Piece Performing Her Grew Up And With Fearless Detective Attitude! Simply Incredible! Of Course And Obviously I Can Think About Her By Her Participation In The Movie She Have Potential For Be More Than A Little Cuttie Damsel In Distress Or Hostage Of The Bad Guy!
Now She Looks Likes A Complete Heroine! Congratulations And Regards!!! You Make Change A Bit My Mind About My Previous Considerations... Better Than The Original Little Olivia Previous Version Just Can Be Your Cleave Age Version Of Her!
