I know some of the official designs seem to have leaked already, but I have not had a look at them yet. I seriously thought I would have more time to complete these fake starters before any mayor leaks happened, but oh well.
So, Quaxly is supposed to be a tidy Duckling Pokémon, so I figured I'd give it some sort of cleaning ability. That mixed with my concept to make it part fire ended up as pressure washer wings. The final evolution would coat its feathers with water, which clings to it naturally, then it shoots that by then scorching water from it's wing like a canon. For the rest of its design I went more with a flamingo or even seagull look, since we had our fair share of water ducks before and it would look much more fun to mix the flamingo with the fire type :> The middle form is pretty much wearing a rain poncho with some tear drop designs on it as it gets more adapt at letting water cling to it's feathers.
