I have always loved sunflowers, they’re so bright and tall and they’re almost human like the way they always look to the sun. Beneath that verdant canopy of gold and green I wish to lie. On that cool earth I would rest deep where the shadows hide my twisted form and monstrous fangs the visage of which betrays my nature. May the passers by gaze upon those glorious stands of gold and reel in fear when, once more, I leave my ephemeral peace and rise to pierce the veil of beauty that obscured the beast lurking below.
