So This is my character for my new open species called Lingerique. (Pronounced like "lingerie" and "eek"). He's my new obsession and I love him! I'll link his character info once I have it written down on his Toyhouse. LOL

So pretty much just his undies are real. Everything else is printed on him or and extension of him. I've had an idea for these things for a bit now and finally got around to making them. Honestly I thought long and hard about them being open or not, and honestly I have grown to be wary of most closed species out there. Now don't get me wrong, there are a few that I really enjoy that are more unique but the thought of making something closed that isn't super unique just kind of feels like someone wanting that satisfaction of people running to them because they have something nobody else has. So in essence you're paying for their name on the product and that's it. Add to that the fact that people are struggling now more than ever before, so have a pay only species that has already been made countless times under a different name seems kind of malicious to me.

I personally haven't seen anything floating around like this species here, but I don't doubt that there will ever be one. Copy cats exist and I know that IF this species becomes popular enough it will no doubt suffer the same fate. So making it free now for everyone to enjoy just feels like a good move. People deserve a more unique take on the kemonomimi-like aesthetic that everyone can foster their creativity with. So if you think this concept is cool and you want to design one yourself. GO FOR IT!
