Designed exclusively as a strike craft, the TIE Swordfish is armed enough to fight its way through to its target and fight its way back to safety. On that note while the TIE Swordfish carries Shields, it lacks a Hyperdrive and mush rely on a mother ship or base of operations. The Swordfish packs no less than twenty launch tubes for a variety of payloads and eight laser cannons, also included are a quartette of rear mounted launch tubes for anti-pursuit weaponry and a defensive laser cannon turret.
