Actually my first time cutting scales into fur surprisingly enough. This one took a bit more effort than the others, but I think it's by far my favorite out of the bunch. This fur is made of a different kind of plastic than the usual stuff, and strangely doesn't have the same melting problem as other fur when exposed to heat. Even still, I was careful when ironing on the dye. :P This tail really makes me think of a chibi eastern water noodle derg with a little nubbin butt. xv
I put a bit more effort into the post processing and photos this time, but oh man, did this remind me of how terrible gimp has gotten; certainly going to be going through the effort to edit these photos on clip studio on my tablet next time. >.>
