A strong roundhouse from Dhaxon sends Ralus reeling. Barely able to recover from the beefy hit, Ral notices the blue dragon readying a brutal axe kick to finish the fight. Acting quickly, Ral holds up both arms defensively and braces for impact. A successful block! Seizing the opportunity, Ralus pushes back on Dax's leg and knocks him off-balance, then lands a swift heel kick to his abs. The strike pushes Dax back, hurting but still raring to go. The two nod at each other, acknowledging their strengths, before charging back in. This long, heated rivalry doesn't end until someone gets knocked out, and these two dragons still have vigor to spare. Nobody blink! Go for broke!

Been awhile since I've done a fight piece, let alone one with Dhaxon (blame art block). My two dragon OCs have existed for the same amount of time, but my art's become the Ralus show with the occasional cameo, so it's nice to draw his not-twin every once in a while. He's actually changed slightly since I last drew him. Added some rings to his horns and, uh, cheek fins? I honestly have no idea what those are supposed to be. I just know other dragon designs have that sort of thing on them, so 2020-me added it to Dax to differentiate him a bit from Ral. His tail design also changed a bit. Went from a cone-tip to a spade one. Oh, and that reaction shot cut-in was a last minute addition. I just thought it was a shame to have Ral's face be blocked by his arm, so I drew that little bit there.

Points to whoever can find the reference material used. I'll be pleasantly surprised.
