Chapter Summary:
Mesa comes over to Reti's place for a hangout-date. They chill, play board games, and talk, while Reti stresses and dances around her schizophrenia.

Story Synopsis:
Reti Calex is a college freshman living in Turtle Canyon, a small desert town in the middle of nowhere. All she wants to do is get through each day and spend some time with her few friends, but schizophrenia looms over her life and clouds her head. At school, she tries to hide her disorder from her new classmates to avoid ostracization. However, when she falls in love and refuses to tell her crush about the things that haunt her, her life and sanity begin to unravel...

at last... CHAPTER SEVEN. this one took wayyy too long. i got hella writer's block and couldn't figure out how to progress with it, so it sat untouched for two months longer than it should've. nonetheless, it's finally here, for anyone actually reading this stuff. enjoy!
