Rescued from the finning trade, Wanjie (or "Xiaowan" to friends) is flighty and paranoid, often dashing off to complete jobs for her masters due to her otherwise unorthodox job.

One of 2 steeds for her current employers, Wanjie devoted herself to magical study after making a full recovery, making some progress so far in her cultivation. Her biggest hurdle however remained her crippling anxiety about what it truly meant to be "human", and if humanity truly was as unforgiving as those who had slaughtered her family. In the meantime, she tackles her job as her employers' bodyguard with reckless abandon, repaying them with her actions.
