Introducing my Sonic Mobian OC; Bashy , a Mobian Swallowtail Butterfly based on the largest butterfly in the Western Hemisphere; the endangered Homerus Swallowtail or the Jamaican Giant Swallowtail , only found in Jamaica. (https://natureology101.wordpress.co.....o-homerus/amp/)
here favorite Music is Dancehall which is a music genre born in Jamaica in the Late 1960s. Surprisingly, dancehall was more of a sparse and diverse form a reggae than its roots style , which had dominated during the 70s. Soon, in the mid-1980s , digital instruments were introduced which gave birth to the Digital Dancehall aka Ragga. The Key elements of including the extending use of Jamaican Patois rather than Jamaican Standard English and a focus on the track instrumentals called "riddims". When the 1990's rolled round , dancehall became so popular all over the Jamaican diaspora communities, later in the 2000's , dancehall spread it's wings worldwide.

well , A dancehall queen is a female dancer in the the dancehall scene known for her charisma, latest dance moves, and sexy fashion sense. this tradition originated the dancehall parties in the ghettos of the Jamaican diaspora , seeking the best local female dancer. Each Jamaican parish holds a local competition every year, the most popular Dancehall Queen being held in Montego Bay.
Fun Fact #2: Deejaying in Jamaica has a rich history since way back in the 1940s and 1950s which gave birth of the sound system culture.
A Sound system in Jamaican pop culture is a group of DJs, Engineers and MCs playing ska, rocksteady, reggae, dub or dancehall. the Djs would load up a truck with a generator , turntables and huge speakers to set up street parties , and when time progressed, the sound systems grew louder and louder , also with custom-built systems that are also capable of playing heavier bass frequencies at 30,000 watts. sometimes they travel down on the road with their systems on trucks , vans or bus spreading their sounds drawing crowds where ever they go.
soon, Djs battle each other come to see who has the best sound, these competitions are called sound clashes.
the Deejays also like to rap over the music, this is one of the early forms of rap is called "toasting"; toasting was rap was before rap. and there is the "selector" who selected the music/rhythm tracks .
The Sound System culture overtime was so popular and influential , it gave birth Hip-Hop and EDM
