I figured it was Afro-Brazilian culture. I googled more about Luedji Luna and found out she's Afro-Brazilian, and that her music has political activism involved within her country. Also that's a great visual metaphor within the song lyrics about asking for guidance in life to which you receive tools to help you find the answers you seek!
