It has been suggested by a bunch of folks that I practice a bit at drawing feral critters in order to help improve my anthro artwork. So I've been sketching a few of my favorites, mostly foxes, otters, and coyotes of course. One of my recent otter sketches I thought could, with a bit of modification, be made into a birthday gift for a special otter. One whose watch and subsequent note sent bout a year or so back to me helped me to fill welcomed in this community. I say that was a year or so ago. Can't remember exactly when it was. I should've held onto that note instead throwing it out with all the others once the private message system changed. Also wish I didn't wait till early this year to finally contact him and get to know him. Thanks a bunch  crashheart. You are greatly appreciated. Like the otter floating leisurely down the stream, be content and at peace.

At times this may prove to be difficult. The rapids of life are oft so treacherous.

Float on I urge you...float through the turbulent patches of life's stream.

In due time your stream, dotted with troubles, will flow into a broader, yet calmer river.

This river is the path meant for you. The path to a happy and prosperous future.

You'll know deep down inside your heart when you're there. It'll feel just right for you.

Your soul will be radiant and uplifted because it knows you're exactly...where you belong.
