In Memoriam: Sylvia Siamese 2007-2022

It is my unpleasant duty to report the passing of Sylvia Siamese, star of film, comics and whatever else she set her mind to.
Ms. Siamese was 15 years of age at her passing.
She will continue to appear in "The Couch Kitties".
She is survived by her comrade in claws, Norma Bates Kitteh, and a certain b'ar with a Sylvia-sized hole in his soul.
She will be missed.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. their bright eyes are intent. Their eager body quivers. Suddenly they run from the group, flying over the green grass, legs carrying them faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Though I never met her, Triple M, I want to say my thanks to her for providing you a bright spot in your life, and to say that she will never be forgotten by anyone who was fortunate enough to see the rare IRL pics we did of her just chilling.
You do still have Norma, and I hope that she can be alive longer than Sylvia was.
Sylvia was good purr-cat.
15 mugs up in her memory, and the condolences of my family and myself go to you right now. o.o

It's just like she wanted to at least hang on till your birthday... I know it's just coincidence (... or not, maybe the atmosphere surrounding this event did have some effect on her, never underestimate animal'sinstinct...) but I like that sweet idea.
My sincere condolneces my friend...
