Usually I like leaving texture/material types ambiguous and up the viewer, but this time I explicitly want to mention that this is stressball/memory foam texture, and that's really hard to depict without having someone squeezing into it. My confession is that I've actually been growing REALLY quite fond of stressball textures just because the way the light hits it and saturates the colors is so fun to me and the implied texture of being able to sink into a character is so cute. I sort of had an epiphany where I realized that like pretty much all of my characters would be cute as stressball texture lksdjfhsd
