Yeaaaah, I felt my brain short-circuit when I started reading that first speech bubble. From my perspective, I thought the character was having a stroke and didn't want to admit to it. I wouldn't interpret any of that dialogue as "being silly".
I used to have a member of my gaming group that purposely texted like that and it gave me an aneurism. Funnily enough, they were able to speak coherent sentences in voice chat, to which that always perplexed me for the longest time.

Firstly, I like the cringe, the of-in / of-out (oven/ovout) wordplay made my nerdy sense (it ain't spidey) tingle, and she's hella cute - I'd def want to get to know her
