Monsters & Mudhuts or D&DwD (Randall Birthday 2022)
In case anybody is going to ask...
*rolls eyes* Yes Rigel, you were the only one NOT in a diaper. The two had their fun in session, and I COULD be a jerk and go on about it...
Thanks Az heh. So you..?
Nope. That was all the little guy's idea...though I think he conspired a bit with 'daddy' on the trap thing.
I was worried I'd have to keep dodging traps trying to diaper my character...I was glad it was just one...
On the onset heh.
Yeeeaaah. WELL...at the onset release of the next Borderlands game, or rather inspired by it through a DLC, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is out! Eversince Az had me on the series to help with...certain issues I have with certain things, I've definetly come to enjoy the series like him.
Yeah, entertaining and wildly lootastic...it seems almost natural they would shift into a wacky D&D incarnation that looks...pretty awesome heh.
I KNOW! I can't wait to play! Clawbringing for the win!
And of course, with the release of a D&D inspired game so close, we both decided, hey, why don't we try, at least, a one-shot with Randall for his birthday!, along with his kid, Doru...though I didn't expect the LATER to be the Dungeon Master...
They say kids can be creative? I dunno...I think we're creative, but I think coming up with new stuff can be intimidating...
And Randall didn't seem like the gaming type...was surprised when he mentioned Monsters and Mudhuts and knew how to play. They have D&D in the monster world, who knew?
I guess he WAS proud seeing his somewhat-adopted son running a one-shot for other people to play. I think he had a good time...
I think so too. D&D experiences can be awesome, but filled with drama too, and go to different exteremes. But, when you find that group that's right for you, you have a good time...like Critical Role on its good days. Though I am a little irked of the lack of dragonborn now...and the desire to have actual dragons be villains pratically all the time...
Oh, right, sorry heh. Well, it was interesting considering we were all reptiles at the table playing ha ha! So at least that was good right?
Certainly would flip heads in most human campaigns heh.
The starting trap that was 'missed' aside...I think it was pretty fun! Clerics rock man!
You always need a healer...seriously, get a cleric, it's a requirement heh.
You definetly did seem like the Fighter class Az. I mean you hit HARD as a train!
I just wanted to do something simple for this one, not think too much....though obviously think a LITTLE, that's why I didn't go Barbarian heh...
Oh...true heh. Though raging can kind of...ahem. Honestly I kind of EXPECTED Randall to go for Thief...though maybe it's a comfort thing as it was simple to know what to do and it kind of rounded the party out.
Plus, lock-picking. Everything good is behind locks.
Right heh. And Doru using a Blue Mage of all things going with us through the dungeon...aww, I didn't see the twist coming since you don't usually SEE those in D&D games yet...
That's right Wizards, the Digimon in a diaper came up with it first, no take-sies.
Riiiight heh heh. But over all I think it was pretty fun! We should do it again sometimes! Though...I should ask NOT to do those...traps...again...
Feels like it could be a running gag in campaigns heh.
Uh huh. Though I don't appreciate Randall being let in on the joke if he's the rogue that was suppose to do the job...I suppose there are perks when you're changing the DM's diaper come break time...
