Let me take you back about 10 years. I was asked to give my very first live performance on the drums..."All Of Me", a jazz standard, along with a bassist, guitarist and pianist. Everyone had a great night, and I started to really get hooked on Jazz, wich I never really cared for until that point. The very next day, I started writing my own Jazz song!
What you are listening to here is the result of my very young self trying to grasp what Jazz even is, writing a song without knowing any of the rules, or any of the theory. In 2019, I gathered what shitty free MIDI VST's I had and transcribed it into a DAW. While this song has many flaws and a lot of awkward writing, I still think it turned out pretty okay!
Let me know what you think, my early self would thank you for the critique!
Oh, and please keep in mind that this, in no way, represents my current standards of writing and production. I have since then gathered years and years of experience and good recording equipment! If you want to hear more, just check out my gallery folder "Original Compositions"!

Yep! Time really does fly. :D Thank you so, so much for your lovely comment, it does truly mean a lot to me. I am in fact quite proud of where I am now and how far I have come. :)
I have learned many lessons over the years, and I think one of the most important one is to absolutely never be afraid of trying out something new. New genres, instruments, playing styles etc.
That is pretty much the only way to truly progress as a musician, and to keep the musical brain sharp! :)
