Basically, I was refering to how well someone uses words both formally and informally.
Take for example the words "odor" and "aroma." The difference between "you have a lovely aroma" and "you have a lovely odor" is substantal enough to cause a different reaction.
Basically, I'm saying the internet lacks diction to the point were "ass" means "flowers," "up" means "backflip," "pants" means "dgjklrejsl," etc.
