Made these as a take-home order from ANE. It's the same basic pattern as I'd worked out for the slap bracelets, with a stiffer top layer hand-sewn to a suede liner, but with a snap closure.
The invisible detail that makes these work nicely is, I cut the liner slightly shorter than the top, so when it's sewn together it curls into shape without any weird bunching. Compressing the stitching holes' spacing appropriately is really only possible with the laser cutter.

A couple of the suppliers I get materials from carry jeweled rivets, which would probably get you what you're looking for, but I don't have the tools to set that sort of decorative rivets without damaging them. Someone who does larger quantities of strap projects would be more likely to have them. Off the top of my head, Lagarto is someone I might point you towards. His site has a bunch of decorative stud options listed for custom order.
