After a brief delay, the first piece of art for my tournament has been made! As I said before, I took the votes from last time and added some D20 RNG to keep things interesting. Elvis could’ve gained a lead but that 17 dice roll certainly didn’t help him take down Issac’s massive wave of support! I hope all of you will vote in the next poll when that goes up! 👍

“Hello fighting fans. For those just tuning in, me and my cohost are covering the first exciting fight of the Super Ultra Fighting Gathering Deluxe Tournament. I’m George Moosefari...”
“...and I’m Tony Duffy! Right now, Elvis and Issac are duking it out in a boxing match! Six rounds in and neither of them are are stopping! The hippo might be throwing his heaviest hits but his simian opponent is dodging them super easily!”
“You got that right, Tony. The two of them seem to have entered a stalemate. Neither of them has landed anything more than a couple of light jabs this entire round.”
“But Issac DID manage to send his opponent to the floor in the last round so you have to give them that!”
“And what a knockdown it was. Still though, it seems as though Mister Champagne is putting his agility and acrobatics to good use as he ducks and weaves around the hippo’s fists. Tell me, Tony. As a former fighter yourself, do you think this matchup would be going differently if the spinner landed on wrestling instead of boxing?”
“Hard to say, George. Both of them ARE pretty experienced when it comes to wrestling! I didn’t get a chance to fight either of them before I retired but from what I’ve seen, I wouldn’t want to go up against either of them without at least a little bit of practice!”
“Very true, Tony. Just look at them go. Issac is slamming his fists against the gorilla’s guard to try and break past his defences. He isn’t having much luck though. In fact, he seems to be slowing down the more he throws his punches. I do believe he’s tiring himself out...”
“Yep. Notice his arms sluggish movement. You only get that kind of momentum if you’re running low on fuel, if you catch my drift.”
“Issac has stopped swinging...He’s approaching his opponent...I believe he’s going for a clinch...Only to be stopped thanks to a punch to the snout! That can’t be good!”
“You’re damn right, George! Look at that expression on the hippo’s face, he does NOT look happy!”
“Do you see Elvis smiling at his handiwork? I bet he’s feeling pretty good right now. I mean, hypothetically, he just needs to throw a couple of decent punches and Issac will be out cold...”
“Hold it right there, George! Issac’s looking real angry at this startling development! He’s raising his fists and-OOF! Right in the solar plexus! My god, that must’ve hurt! Looks like the air has been knocked clean out of the primates lungs!”
“Issac is pounding his fists together and saying something, shame we can’t hear it from over here...And Elvis receives a wicked hook to the jaw! The gorilla is down. I repeat, the gorilla is down!”
“Hell yeah, baby! What a knockdown! Can Elvis get up before it’s too late?”
“He’s trying, Tony. He’s certainly trying...”
“Survey says...No! The bell has been rung! Elvis Champagne has lost the fight! Issac is now one step closer to claiming the belt! Look at him dancing down there! God, his body is like watching a bag filled with pudding shake from side to side!”
“I will admit, I didn’t see this coming. It’s a real shame that Mister Champagne won’t be donating that prize money.”
“Don’t fret too much, George. The ape regularly donates his paychecks to charity. The prize money was just gonna be a nice, little bonus. Besides, Elvis might get a second chance if he enters the loser bracket. Who knows, maybe he and Issac will end up having a rematch!”
“Regardless, the two boxers are tapping gloves right now. I think it’s safe to say there’s no hard feelings between these two.”
