High-quality art depicting a character in a certain way is more likely to end up getting other people to draw that character in a similar vein. If someone with talent draws Mewtwo in a position of power, dominance, etc., then others will see that and most likely be inspired to draw Mewtwo in similar scenarios. Likewise, if someone is drawing Mewtwo in such scenes like the Minions picture, then people are going to possibly get inspired by that and end up drawing Mewtwo in bad situations.
So what I need to do is balance things so that there is an equal-quality picture of Mewtwo winning out, so that people don't just see the side of Mewtwo being so horribly disfigured, but see this eventual other piece as well.

*sigh* The fetish material is not part of what I am getting at here. Anything fetish-related that I've commissioned has been for myself and not to respond to anyone. It's been a while since I've felt it needed to get a repsonse commission done as it is, which is why most of the recent uploads have been fetish-based.
I want the next generation of Pokemon fans to see Mewtwo as something other than a creature that would just get the shit kicked out of him without putting up a fight. Current and future commissions I have in the works will be going along those lines.

Yes, Mewtwo is God Tier in the games. I'm quite happy about that. He's also shown as amazingly powerful in the movies. But the last official show of his power was all the way back then. We've had very little since then - I believe he's going to be the final boss of some new Pokemon Ranger game though. But that's not where I'm going with this.
Actually, someone above and beyond Pokemon players are going to care what goes on here, and elsewhere in fan communities for that matter.
In a recent issue of Nintendo Power, they specifically mentioned several terms that have come straight from 4chan's /v/ and /vp/ boards - "Smugleaf", how everyone hates "Wotter", etc. This shows that there are people in positions of power that view what goes on in fan communities, and it can possibly influence direction.
If there's to be any hope of Mewtwo returning to glory in a future Smash Bros. roster, then there needs to be a solid showing from his fanbase that comes out and says "Nintendo, you made a big mistake here, you've got the chance to make things right, please do it." That requires many pieces of fanwork, art, stories, or otherwise, showing Mewtwo in positions of power. So of course I'm going to encourage anything showing Mewtwo like that, and try to denounce anything that is not. Are my chances minimal? Probably. Are they zero? No. And as long as those chances aren't zero I'm going to keep trying.
