It may be no longer be St. Patrick's Day, but I say better late than never :) .
They were only meant to have a drink with each other as friends celebrating St. Patrick's Day, trying out the green beer that was made for this specific day. But here they were, the two of them at a secluded area where they wouldn't be found, with a massive pot full of gold, with Olivia laying on top of it in both exhaustion and relief.
The day for Yoko had turned out like it had any normal day would, with the only exception being that it was St. Patrick's Day, and she was getting out of her shift wearing a green playboy bunny suit instead of her normal purple one. And as she stepped out, waiting for her was her Kitsune friend Olivia, who was sporting an outfit that looked like her normal attire but being in a green and black pattern.
Olivia: Well that took you long enough.
Yoko: Oh you're telling me. One can only bear hearing Irish music blaring from the speakers on loop for so long that you just want the day to end.
Olivia couldn't help but get a chuckle from hearing that remark.
Olivia: Well the good news is you're out and about to have a green beer for once.
Yoko: Yeah. Never tried one so I wanna see if there's a difference in taste.
As the two of them began to make their way a bar nearby, something up in the sky caught Yoko's attention.
Yoko: Oh awesome! It really is St. Patrick's Day now with that up there!
Pointing up into the sky amongst the buildings, Olivia looked to see what Yoko was talking about. This was when she looked up to see something that was formed into an arch, sporting numerous colours people were very familiar with. The two of them were looking at a rainbow, one that towered over the entire city, giving everyone down below a great look at it.
Olivia: Oh cool rainbow!
Yoko: First time seeing one in a few years. Surprised there were no rainbows in Daybreak Town.
Olivia: Well you're not in Daybreak Town now are you? You can celebrate St. Patrick's Day again.
Yoko: That's for sure. Especially about the folk tale about there being a pot of gold guarded by a leprechaun at the end of those rainbows.
Olivia: Pot of gold?
Yoko: Yeah. With every rainbow, there was always a leprechaun at the end of it that would be guarding their pot of gold from anyone trying to steal it if it was St. Patrick's Day. But that was just a story told to kids.
Hearing this little tale, Olivia began to think, as she continued to look up at the rainbow.
Olivia: Hmmm. I wonder......
Yoko: Olivia? That's just a kids tale. Leprechauns aren't real.
Olivia: Yoko. You're talking to a magical Kitsune and you wanna say Leprechauns aren't real? Besides, has anyone ever made it to the end of a rainbow?
Yoko: Not that I know of. Because nobody could ever reach it before the rainbow disappeared.
Olivia: Well then we'll just fix that!
Yoko: What-
Before Yoko could finish speaking, Olivia took hold of Yoko's hand, as they suddenly disappeared with her teleportation. The next thing Yoko saw, she was suddenly on the sidewalk in the city, to being up high in the sky above the rainbow with Olivia holding her hand.
Olivia: Alright, let's have a look... Aha! I can see where the end is!
Out of complete reflex, Yoko closed her eyes as she quickly wrapped her arms and legs around Olivia's body in sheer terror, not hearing anything Olivia was saying.
Olivia: You see what I'm seeing Yoko?!
Yoko: AAAHHH!!!!! LET ME DOWN! LET ME DOWN! LET ME DOWN! LET ME DOWN!
Olivia: Okay okay!
Olivia couldn't help but laugh at seeing her friend being completely scared out of her wits, as she prepared the both of them for their next teleportation.
On a lush green patch of land swarmed full of shamrocks, the sky was clear with small hills as far as the eye could. It was here, Olivia and Yoko, who still had her arms and legs wrapped around Olivia's body and screaming out in fear, suddenly appeared as they were back on solid ground.
Olivia: Yoko stop screaming we're back on the ground!
Opening her eyes slowly, Yoko looked around them, seeing the peaceful patch of land and small hills around. This was when she began to slowly let go of Olivia, with her arms and legs still shaking from just suddenly being up in the sky falling down.
Yoko: Olivia. If you're going to suddenly bring us up into the sky again, please warn me next time! I am terrified of falling from the sky!
Olivia: I won't make promises I don't intend to keep. But hey, it worked. Check it out!
Pointing behind Yoko, Olivia spotted the end of the rainbow nearby. That was where she spotted what she was trying to see was real or not. On a small hill at the end of the rainbow, was a large pot. Inside the pot, was a large amount of gold coins, with its contents appearing to spill out of the pot if any sudden movement were made. When Yoko turned to see this, she was speechless, while Olivia grinned in anticipation.
Olivia: Oh yeah. Jackpot!
Yoko: Holy crap. It's actually real!
Not wasting any time, the two of them dashed towards the pot of gold. However, as they were about to touch the coins in the pot, they were suddenly greeted by the sight of a small man wearing green and was holding a wooden shillelagh.
????: Don't you two be touching me pot of gold!
Yoko: Never thought I would ever see a real life Leprechaun before.
Olivia: And its the very same Leprechaun that is in our way from getting that gold.
Leprechaun: Pretty confident are ye? Well then.
The Leprechaun readied himself, wielding his shillelagh as a weapon.
Leprechaun: Try and get past me. If you can!
Seeing that the Leprechaun was ready for a fight, Olivia was ready to take him on. But she was stopped by Yoko, as she raised her left arm in front of her.
Yoko: Olivia. Let me take on this little critter. I can take him on.
Yoko looked to Olivia, as she lifted her star glasses with her right hand, and gave her a wink. She proceed to look back to the Leprechaun, as she summoned out her Keyblade.
Yoko: Alright! Let's do this!
Leprechaun: Let's see what you got!
Yoko quickly dashed forward, ready to strike the Leprechaun. But the attack was easily blocked by the Leprechaun's shillelagh. When the Leprechaun attempted to make a counterattack, Yoko quickly jumped back, getting distance away from him. She soon followed up with casting an Aero spell at the Leprechaun, which the Leprechaun was able to easily dodge, and make a dash towards Yoko. Seeing the Leprechaun come towards her, Yoko used Brawling Ice, which encased her Keyblade in Ice, and halted the Leprechaun's strike.
Leprechaun: You are a formidable one. I like that!
Yoko: I got a lot more fight in me than you think!
The two separated from one another, all the while Olivia was looking at the fight in front of her. But Olivia wasn't just watching the fight, she was waiting. With the wink Yoko gave her, she knew what it meant.
'When you see the right moment, get ready to send us far away from here.'
Olivia kept a very close eye on the battle, waiting for the moment she was to make her move. At the same time, Yoko was still trying to fight against the Leprechaun, as she used Blast Strike, firing 7 energy shots at the Leprechaun. But seeing these shots, the Leprechaun easily dodged them, using his quick speed to easily get around them, as he dashed towards Yoko for another chance to strike her. With the Leprechaun closing in on her, Yoko quickly used Freezing Strike, which immediately summoned four blocks of ice that surrounded her. But this didn't stop the Leprechaun, as he swung his shillelagh at the block of ice in front of Yoko, breaking it. This caused Yoko to be forced back by the strike, as she hit the block of ice behind her, and made her trip and get pushed back by the impact of the attack, right towards the large pot of gold. The moment Olivia saw Yoko get forced back by the strike from the Leprechaun, she saw her opening.
'There's my chance!'
When Yoko was pushed back to the pot of gold, Olivia immediately dashed towards her, as she jumped into the air, ready to land on top of the pot of gold. With Yoko down on the ground with her back against the pot. Feeling that he had won, the Leprechaun grinned. That was until he saw Olivia jumping to the pot of gold, and Yoko grinning in confidence.
Leprechaun: I've been had!
Landing on the pot of gold, Yoko kept touching the pot, as Olivia immediately teleported herself, Yoko, and the pot of gold out of the area. Seeing them all gone, the Leprechaun screamed.
Leprechaun: NNNOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Out in a secluded area, surrounded by abandoned buildings, was an empty warehouse. The warehouse was empty, with the only light illuminating inside was the sun shining down on it. But at the middle of the warehouse, a large pot full of gold, Yoko who was laying beside it, and Olivia who was laying on top of the gold suddenly appeared. The two of them were exhausted, as they just did what sounded to anybody to be either be very unrealistic or just impossible; they had successfully taken a Leprechaun's pot of gold.
Olivia: We....we did it....
Yoko: Glad you got us out of there when you did. Man that hurt.
Olivia: Yeah. But....it was worth it.
Yoko: I'll say.
Looking up to her exhausted friend, Yoko had given Olivia the thumbs up, as Olivia was just staring out in front of her, both in exhaustion and satisfaction at what they did. Not everybody can say they took gold from a real Leprechaun and succeeded.
I would like to thank
usagiforehead once again for this festive and wonderful picture with both my character and my friend
jurgenblue with their character Olivia . They have succeeded where everyone else thought it was a myth or a fairy tale. They succeeded in stealing a Leprechaun's pot of gold :D . Though from the looks of things, Olivia may have used quite a lot of energy teleporting herself, Yoko and the gold ;) . And to see Yoko giving Olivia the thumbs up, everything went pretty well :) .Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone :)
