Little story behind this. This is an epson printer i got from an older lady that said it wasnt printing correclty. I had it sitting here hoping that i would be able to repair it; but the print heads were beyond clogged.
Well, today i bought the battery to fix my watch; now its not just a simple 'pop the plate off and replace the battery' no... this one has a flash drive built into it. so it was already a struggle to get the battery out. Now while in the process of putting the new battery in, i dropped it. i watched it bounce and then i heard it disappear into the printer! ARG! so i did what most furs would do; pick it up and shake it to see if the battery rattles loose. no dice. turn it to the side and shake it, the battery rattles around... i turn it up side down and shake it, i hear the battery rattle... i turn it right side up and i hear nothing! AAAHHHHH!!!! the batteries stuck!!!!!!111one!
so... the printer was already slated for the trash bin... so i stomped the fucker... oh it felt good to smash the bastard. i didnt unscrew a sigle screw, i smashed it... i smashed it good
found the battery though o.o it was stuck to the printers ink catch pad.
overall, dead printer is deader. now its got a job of printing in the afterlife...!! MUAAAhAHAhAHAhAHA......

Ooo!! O can fix it!
Well, I /could/ have.. but then the foot came in. I don't make a habit of gluing broken plastic together... but I do enjoy putting things back together.
In the next event you have to clean clogged heads, use Windex, or straight up Ammonia. The inks are ammonia based and will dissolve nicely in it.. cleaning the heads and getting it to run again.
(But let this be a warning to you, Don't buy a printer where you cannot replace the heads)

that'll do it... That's why the printer makers make you buy their ink, and it costs a bunch. It's got the right viscosity for the nozzles. I never liked that Epson built the heads of their printers so you can't replace them. Quite a few of the Canon printers have replaceable heads, and individual ink tanks, which is really awesome.
