Dino Daycare - Tracy the Triceratops [OUTDATED]
OUTDATED - DO NOT REFERENCE OR USE
Full name: Tracy Topps
Gender: Female
Age: 5
Species: Triceratops prorsus
:Personality:
A Smart and strong willed Triceratops, Tracy is often considered the leader of team Hell creek, and the 'Big Sister' of the group. Despite her interests, and not being much older than her friends, she's one of the more mature kids at the daycare, and tends to have knowledge of concepts and ideas that most kids her age aren't familiar with.
A pretty big one being on high management and maintenance, she's often great when it comes to things like sorting, planning, or just giving out instructions for what anyone should be doing, so when a group activity needs to be done, such as cleaning up the daycare's playroom, she's the rallying call that gets everyone to work together, and get the job done in under 3 minutes!
While Tracy's plans usually end up going well... some kids may find her rather bossy, with a need to manage and tell others what to do, not every kid likes to be fussed around by someone who thinks they know everything. And it's true! Tracy isn't always right, she isn't perfect, and she can be wrong! And not everything will go according to plan. Although this ties into her next strength... determination. Even if something does goes wrong, Tracy isn't going to just lay down and throw in the towel, she'll find a solution to fix the problem she may have caused, and make sure it all wraps up nicely!
Tracy's earnest and responsible attitude has made her a highly respectable and trustworthy kid within the daycare. She also has good ties with almost every other girl in the daycare, especially with the all female group; Team Horseshoe Valley, even their rather snooty and mean leader Elmore (an Edmontosaurus), considers Tracy a good friend of hers.
:Interests:
Being your typical girly girl, Tracy pretty much loves almost anything pink and girly! Dress up, playing dollhouse, creating friendship bracelets, you name it! She also has a love for strawberries, pop music, and collectable toys. Tracy also has a love of wild west/cowgirl themes, and likes roleplaying as a sheriff at times, this might come from the fact that her father is a police officer.
Although nothing perks her up more than Unicorns! Gosh does this girl love unicorns! If there's something she owns, it's most likely unicorn themed! If she has to make something art related, it's probably gonna have a unicorn on it! Tracy has such a deep fascination with unicorns that she tends to include them in as many things as she can regardless of context.
:Quotes:
"Howdy! My name's Tracy, and welcome to Dino Daycare!"
"Being awesome is what we Threehorns do best!"
"Come on everyone, We got this together!"
"Mmm... I could sure go for a strawberry sundae right now."
"Shake your tail! Cause we're here to have a party tonight!"
I didn't change much for Tracy, as I think she looks pretty good already, the only changes I made are that she now has nails on her hands, and her three horns are now white instead of dark blue, the latter is so that they don't blend into her face, she also has very slightly lighter colors, although the change is so minuscule it's hard to notice.
Tracy's Panties are based of an actual design I found in a supermarket, including the unicorn, you can find refs for them here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/46552853/

I like the 'catch phrases' you have for each character. It sounds like, if 'Dino Daycare' was made into a Disney Jr., Nick Jr., or PBS Kids series, you would have posted videos on YouTube and other support sites in which act as ways to create minute long segments that help young fans get to see more of what makes their favorite characters super-duper awesome!

I'm sure Tracy and Britany lock horns lots and lots during their day-to-day interactions at the daycare. No doubt their rivalry is what keeps all the kids and their caretakers on their toes.

Oh they certainly do! Although I'm quite worried about Tracy being too bland or one-note, I don't want her to be known simply as the girly girl who loves unicorns, as invested as she is in her interests, it can't define her entire personality. While I added more leaderlike qualities to her to remedy this, I think more work could potentially be done, what do you think?

Still, I think her design looks really good, and fits her character well enough, it's one of my favorites too, I think the many shades of blue really makes her stand out from her friends, also Tracy refers to herself as a "threehorn" this is because I intend on using some language from land before time for this series. Speaking of which, Tracy's last name being "Topps" with 2 P's isn't a coincidence, as she claims to come from a proud lineage of Threehorns.

Also, here are the references I did for Max and Ellie if you're interested!

Oh, I am very interested. It is just taking me more time to catch up due to helping Lucca move into my house / our nest. We have recently repurposed a room that my mom no longer wants to use as an 'Art Room' and, thanks to it, I am finally getting caught up on things and stuff while he works on art commissions and such. :)

Tracy is far from being a boring character. Leader characters, like Littlefoot, tend to be the 'Well Balanced' sort. However, like Littlefoot, Tracy has a number of qualities that allow her to stand out beyond being the main / leader character in the show. Examples include her liking of Unicorns and her Unicorn undies. Her undies may not seem like anything super important, but they mean a lot if the target audience viewing the program and/or book may be of in the process of potty training. You then have Britany, a clear rival for Tracy, not wanting out of diapers to kind of illustrate to younger readers / viewers how you are nicer and more thoughtful when you don't allow yourself to stay stuck in diapers.
Another element of Tracy, which is also my head canon, is how she may like Unicorns due to how she may think of them as a different type of Triceratops that, sadly, does not have all 3 of its horns. This could make her highly empathetic to characters who may have disabilities, shyness, or could use just a bit more love for being who and what they are.
Going on a similar head canon about the 'single horn', Tracy may be the one who helps those who are different see how their differences give them, like the Unicorn, 'magical powers'.
So, at least for me, I see her as the leader / flagship character who helps show kids how important it is to embrace diversity, help others, and be proud to be out of Pampers. This is not to say she would ever shame anyone, like Clay, who still needs padding. However, she would always make extra effort to remind those having trouble with the potty that they will get it soon and that, as long as they try, they are no less a friend for still needing diapers.
