At LONG last! Here is Orreian Tale 12! This story has been on/off for months and now I have FINALLY finished it for you all! The tales of Kajex and crew continue, and this time we add the mysterious delphox witch Lilith and by extension, Thorya's father, King Atrimel.

I also explain how Naomi got her, "grow when hugged," power here too hehehe. Please enjoy!

The day was bright and cheerful. The skies were clear and the sun was hiding behind some clouds that afternoon. Kajex and Naomi were currently sitting on one of the many park benches in their local park after taking a nice walk for a date. They were at peace with one another.

“Been almost too long since we’ve been out like this,” Naomi smiled as her ribbon flowed in the light breeze. “Y-Yeah that’s true,” Kajex blushed as his coat swayed like a cape behind him, “W-Work and Kaja have just been hectic to get under control.”

It was the perfect day for a walk. Both of them have been busier than ever trying to do stuff such as getting Kaja her own stuff and setting up her room in Kajex’s apartment and getting Kajex’s work situation straightened out after Sora’s… accident the prior week. A day like this was MUCH needed for Kajex.

“But luckily I get to spend a day like this with you~” Naomi teased before kissing his cheek.

Kajex’s face turned bright red and his tail was wagging at top speed. Naomi couldn’t help but to giggle at her favorite pup as she took a seat on a nearby bench and gestured Kajex to side beside her.

“It’s all I could ever ask for~” she giggled as Kajex slowly took a seat. “S-S-Same here,” Kajex stuttered before he took her hand.

It was just a picture perfect scene, two lovebirds sitting in the park, one a blushy mess and the other the perfect tease. It was adorable. However it wasn’t long before Kajex’s phone began to vibrate in his pocket to break up the mood.

“Someone’s calling you?” Naomi asked curiously as Kajex fumbled through his pockets. “Y-Yeah it seems so,” he stuttered as he pulled it out, “No idea who it i-”

Kajex nearly dropped his phone when he saw it was Thorya of all people calling him. His heart raced as Naomi glanced at his phone. Kajex answered and slowly brought it to his ear, hand shaking.

“I-It’s Kajex,” he stuttered as he replied. “Hey Kajex,” Thorya began, “Are you busy? I… need you to come over to the palace.”

Naomi tilted her head in confusion, seeing Kajex lock up in the most unusual ways made her on edge about the call.

“I-I’m on a date with Naomi right now,” he stuttered, “Wh-Why do you need me?” “I just want you to… meet someone,” Thorya replied, “And don’t sweat your date with Naomi. I can give you two clearance. It’s only for like ten minutes tops.”

Kajex paused. Naomi grabbed his hand to try and keep his senses straight. Kajex took a deep breath before he made his reply.

“Alright we’ll head on over,” Kajex replied in a calm manner. “Awesome!” Thorya exclaimed, “I’ll notify the guards!”

Thorya hung up as Kajex pocketed his phone. Naomi looked at Kajex in the eyes as his body quaked in place. The surprise still got to him even after the call had subsided.

“What was Thorya calling you about?” she asked curiously, “Seems like it was urgent.” “Thorya wants me to meet someone… at Orrei Palace,” Kajex began, “E-Even gave you clearance to enter with me.”

Naomi’s jaw hit the floor at the very idea. NO bystander is ever given clearance to enter the palace so needless to say, Naomi and Kajex for that matter were given the highest honor imaginable.

“J-Just to meet somebody?” Naomi stuttered. “Sounds like this person is important at that,” Kajex blushed as he stood up.

Naomi followed suit, her heart thumping out of her chest as she tried to calm herself. The blush on her face slowly dissipated while Kajex remained as motionless as a plank of wood.

“Let’s just get going before you have a heart attack,” Naomi remarked as she slowly began to push Kajex like he was a boulder. “I think I already did…” Kajex squeaked under his breath.

Twenty minutes later…

Kajex had finally shook off his hock and now was walking normally beside Naomi. Both were still shaking a bit as they stepped closer and closer to the palace. Its radiant glow was almost too captivating.

“St-Still crazy you got to meet the prince of Orrei,” Naomi remarked as she held his hand tightly. “H-Hey I didn’t think Cherry was their mechanic!” Kajex replied, “I-I’m even more shocked they even showed up at my birthday!”

They were coming up to the glistening Orreian Palace in the center of town. The palace was vast, at least a city block’s worth was taken up by just the courtyard. The building towered over them like a large office building. Two guards, a machoke, and a haunter stood on either side.

“N-Never have I been so close to the palace…” Kajex stuttered as he stepped up onto the first step. “Halt!” the machoke exclaimed. “Civilians are prohibited from stepping beyond this point!” the haunter continued. “D-Don’t worry!” Naomi stuttered as she looked at them, “W-We’re here because-” “Let them come you two,” a familiar voice echoed.

Thorya stepped down from the top step much to the guards’ shock. They placed their robotic hand on Kajex’s shoulder to steel his nerves again.

“These are Kajex and Naomi, “Thorya began, “You are to treat them with the same respect as you do to Cherry and Lilith from this day forward. Understood?” “Y-Yes master Thorya!” the guards exclaimed, “Please go right ahead!”

Thorya gestured the two to follow them up the steps before bringing them to the vast courtyard. They were in awe and shock at what they were seeing and what had transpired.

“Sorry I couldn’t get it into their skulls faster,” Thorya began as they glanced back at Kajex and Naomi, “Lilith wouldn’t let me go while she awaited my father.” “Who is this Lilith?” Naomi asked curiously, “You mentioned having them in as high of a regard as Cherry.”

They arrived at the main entrance to the palace. The doors stood so tall over them that even Sora could fit inside. Thorya simply knocked on it and they sloooowly began to open with an earth shaking tremble.

“They’re King Atrimel’s royal mage,” Thorya began as they stepped into the main hall, “And who I wanted you to meet today Kajex.”

Kajex’s heart skipped a beat. His hands were shaking as Naomi took in the sights. He felt like things were happening at blistering speed and he needed a moment to orient himself.

“S-Someone appointed by the king himself?!” Kajex squeaked as he froze. “D-Don’t think of her like that,” Thorya assured, “Just think of her as a friend.” “How would we do that when we haven’t even met her?” Naomi asked curiously.

They passed through the glistening main hall and arrived at another, tall staircase that led to a door that stood at least a dozen feet tall, a red carpet leading all the way down the steps to it.

“Well that’s… because I’ve been forced to spill the beans at least about Kajex,” Thorya blushed as they trekked up the steps, “Lilith has… mind reading spells.”

They arrived at the doors at the top of the steps. Beyond it they could hear the faint whispers between two individuals just inside. Thorya began to push the doors open.

“Wh-What kind of mage is she?” Kajex stuttered as Thorya gritted their teeth. “Just wait and see,” Thorya replied as the doors were opened.

Two people stood in the room. One was a male zeraora with the color in their fur fading, dawning in a red cloak, silver armor, and with a scar over a faded right eye. The other was a female delphox standing at least 7 and a half feet tall. Her fur was almost all varying shades of purple, her eyes shone a deep yellow, a belt hung around her waist with a book attached to it, accessories like anklets and toe rings at her feet, and an almost swimsuit like top and bottom paired with a black choker. Their conversation was cut off as the door opened.

“That will be all for now Lilith,” the zeraora said in a stern tone, “You go on and fulfill wherever my son desires of you.” “Of course King Atrimel,” Lilith replied as she turned around, “My time was running a bit low today for a chat anyways.”

As Lilith walked towards the group (with Kajex and Naomi quickly backing out of the room out of respect) Atrimel simply scoffed at Thorya, his face with disappointment written all over it.

“My son really thinks these civilians are worthy of walking around in here?” he scoffed as Thorya began to close the doors, “How long until they realize that they’re above them? Even that science experiment shouldn’t be allowed past the courtyard”

Lilith simply gave Thorya a wink as they closed the door. Kajex and Naomi stood at the bottom of the steps with their faces red hot and yet Lilith hadn’t noticed them quite yet.

“So where are these little friends you wanted me to meet?” Lilith giggled as Thorya wiped some sweat off of their forehead. “They’re just at the bottom of the steps,” Thorya huffed as they glanced down at them.

Lilith’s eyes were drawn to Kajex in an instant. She slowly began to descend the steps as her fur cloak swayed behind her. Kajex’s heart thumped as Naomi calmed herself down.

“You didn’t tell me you knew such an ADORABLE lucario my liege!” Lilith teased as she towered over Kajex, “He’s so small I could squeeze him like a doll!”

Kajex’s tail began to lightly sway behind him. Doting like that was THE way to make him go all puppy mode. Naomi however was growing a tad jealous over Lilith’s strong first impression on her pup.

“W-Well don’t forget about what I told you about him,” Thorya chuckled, “Sometimes he’s not so small.” “You know one spell and it won’t be an issue,” Lilith said as she gave Thorya a wink. “Wh-What kind of spell?” Kajex asked as Lilith glanced back at him.

A spark of purple light flashed on her fingertip at his question. She clearly was a bigger fan of him now that she heard his voice.

“I have all sorts of size related spells and potions at my whim my dear,” she smirked as she leaned forward a bit, “I can be as big as I want me or you to be.”

Naomi was wearing a bit of a pouty face at the display. Thorya walked over to her when they noticed to try and comfort her a bit.

“Is something the matter Naomi?” Thorya asked curiously. “Kajex is my special puppy,” she pouted as her ears drooped, “I’m the only one who deserves to dote all over him.”

Kajex was captivated under her spell so to speak. He was immediately a fan of Lilith and hardly cared for the consequences. She hovered a finger by his snoot and he didn’t notice at all.

“I may need to ask you to help me test a few spells of mine,” she giggled before booping his snoot.

Kajex immediately shrunk to half his normal size, not only catching him off guard, but Lilith as well. Not to mention Naomi was getting furious over discovering Kajex’s shrinking trigger so easily.

“You shrink when booped?” Lilith gasped as her tail swayed behind her, “Just how precious are you?!” “Precious enough to be my boyfriend!” Naomi exclaimed as she scooped her pup off of the floor like a toy.

Naomi clung to Kajex like a doll as she looked up at Lilith. Clearly some kind of protective instinct washing over the mienshao.

“Don’t mind me dear,” Lilith assured, “I just wanted to compliment on how adorable he is. I wouldn’t dare take him from you.” “W-Well you’d better not!” Naomi countered, “I’ve known Kajex for almost my whole life!”

Thorya then slid in between the two ladies before Naomi got any ideas. The mienshao let out a sigh as Lilith simply looked down at her curiously with a faint, golden glow in her eyes.

“Ah I see,” Lilith remarked as she blinked, the glow fading away, “Then I won’t pry anymore on your little lovebird.” “Th-Thank you,” Thorya breathed a sigh of relief, “I don’t want a fight or anything to break out.”

Kajex was just a silent, flustered mess the whole time. All he could see was the underside of their chins as he looked up at them, clearly his smollness getting the better of him.

“Well, I hope we can get off on a better foot after this,” Lilith giggled as she snapped her fingers, “I can tell you wanted something like this badly.”

Naomi felt a charge of electricity rush through her body for a brief moment, but afterwards didn’t feel any different. She tilted her head slightly in confusion.

“What did you do to me?” Naomi asked cautiously. “Just used a little spell on you that I cooked up recently,” Lilith giggled, “Let your little pup hug you and find out what it does. I must be on my way home so I can get back to the potion I was brewing. Oh and don’t worry, the effects wear off after a while”

Lilith then began to walk out to the courtyard with a smirk on her face. Naomi was confused, but Kajex was intrigued by the effects.

“M-May as well test it now before it pops up at an awkward time,” Kajex remarked as Naomi held him out. “O-Okay…” Naomi blushed before she yanked him into a hug.

Kajex instantly hugged her back, but what followed caught all 3 off guard… Naomi had a growth spurt! She grew as long as Kajex hugged her, but had to stop for a moment as he was taken aback. Lilith simply chuckled in the distance.

“NO WAY SHE DID THIS!!!!” Naomi squealed as she squeezed Kajex, now him as small as an actual doll. “W-Wait don’t do this in here!” Thorya panicked as Naomi tried to get Kajex to hug her more, “The building will collapse if you’re not careful!” “Okaaaaay,” Naomi replied as she held Kajex in her bust, “Kajex will just spend the rest of our date in here.”

Naomi began to trot to the exit, Lilith seemingly now long gone. The floor shook a bit with each step she took. She was even able to skip into the center of the courtyard in one bound. Thorya gave a soft chuckle as Lilith was nowhere to be seen. Even the guards were baffled as Naomi charged through.

“Guess things’re gonna be okay then,” Thorya awkwardly chuckled before they went back inside.

However, despite Lilith being nowhere in sight, Kajex was able to hear her voice clearly in his head despite all the thudding and bouncing Naomi’s body kept doing. She was too gleeful to notice the confused pupper in her arms.

“My offer still stands if you want to pay me a visit Kajex,” Lilith’s voice echoed as Naomi yanked him into another hug. “COme on Kajeeeeex!” Naomi squealed as she darted towards the park, “I wanna see the city from a bird’s eye view!”

Kajex was now mentally praying to Arceus, knowing now not ONLY did he have a delphox who gave him Yuki vibes, but now a mienshao girlfriend who can grow when hugged…
