The air was getting quite crisp on their daily walks, either for chores or just to enjoy the outdoors. Maria often holding her cloak whenever the wind picked up. When needed a break she'd often lean against Shadow for a while to warm up before they continued. It was getting to be easy to see their breath in the chilled air nowadays.
During one of their walks, with no real destination in mind, Maria paused and looked up. Giving a cheerful chuckle as saw soft white specks falling toward them. Holding out her hands to catch the first one that reached her.
"Our first snow" She said as smiled toward Shadow as more snowflakes fell around them bringing in that winter had officially started.
