Also, there's a chance that Calex has somehow convinced the space catboy that Earth catboys don't wear clothes and now he takes of his clothes to go naked on Earth to fit on because of Calex. The fact no one questions it if he's with Calex or been seen with him in the past probably makes the explanation seem really believable.
