Yup! I posted him earlier in my gallery, but since then I've stripped the paint and re-built him, doing some putty work to fix broken parts and fill in air bubbles

I like it, much better then the GW version, not so sure about the wings on the back, but i like the polearm and the shield. The chasis is a much better shape too.

Very nice mod, which suit did you use for the main body it doesn't't look like your standard battlesuit.

I'm interested in making a diorama depicting Farsight either corrupted by Chaos or enslaved by the C'Tan.

I think the C'tan idea is allright, due to his weapon, as Tau having anything to do is absolutely loony. They're atheists. Wacky cultist stuff is definitely not their interest or forte, regardless of the farsight enclaves' barely specified antagonism towards the main Tau Empire.

It's based on the theory that the Dawn Blade was possessed, considering that Arthas Moloch used to be a haven for Chaos cultists and as an explanation for the Farsight Enclaves' independence.

Indeed, yes, but one must know that Tau are but mere specks of sand in the warp. Chaos entities and gods would have little to gain, if you know what I mean.

Necron runes are more fitting, but take the matrix "Code rain" based off of the introduction span of "Ghost in the Shell" for inspiration, yes exactly!

Yeah, just paint him in a necron-style hue and with necron runes, then enjoy. Add some green plastic stick to the dawnblade and there you go, phasey phase weapon.

Regarding the Chaos theory, he'd look sweet with those spiky bitz from the Chaos Space Marine vehicles. And with those skull chains in front.

Looks awesome though! Still think he'd look better with those old twin antennae/rabbit ears he had on the GW model.

Not exactly sure. But I have in my possession an Imperial Guard, Black Templar, Dark Angel, and Tau armies. The Tau are just a short term investment till a friend has the cash to pay me back. But seeing that AWESOME XV9 of Farsight made me think of some stuff I have been meaning to work on. And wanted to keep the idea up in the air if you did commissions and the such for 40k.

Well, depending on what you want me to do;what you can provide, I can do quite a bit!
