Another one of Kimmy's dog grooming adventures!
This came from a cocker spaniel mix that hadn't been groomed since March of 09. I didn't know his nails were like this cuz he was terribly overgrown with hair. His owner has trouble getting around, so he's never walked. I'm suprised the dog could even walk being overweight with 2 inch nails. Some of them were growing into his pads.
The dog was also horribly matted, and had to be shaved down :V

My wife ends up doing things like nail-trimming for family when they're not looking. A dachsie mix her sister has was dropped off at our house to be dog-sat while they were out of town, and she got all angry when she saw the claws were in his pads. I had to hold him down and lock our dogs in the other room while she trimmed them. Thankfully the pads weren't infected or anything bloody, but the nails curled around and between the pads, and had rubbed into one but it came out without problems. Your client had trouble getting around... they had no excuse.
