Raven had spent her whole life on the wooden boards of the ship while the sea sang it's chaotic song.
She knew this song, had grown up with it. Seen it when it was at it's angriest and when it was at it's calmest. Seen it's fury and been blessed with it's gift. But as she grew it was not the sea's song that called her, but the lands that called to her.
She knew her family would never accept her choice. So as the ship sets out at sea her and a few crew mates come to shore to explore the lands resources. Raven know's this is her moment to finally slip away and live her life.
