"Ahhh, smell likes roses... that have been trampled by some really smelly feet."
I knew yall would be curious about Bean's beans, and the possible controversial choices I've made for them. Yes, 5 toes, even on bird feet texture. The explanation is simple... I asked the commissioner which foot style he'd want for Bean, and he said "I trust your judgement"... Thus he has 5 toes cuz I think it's hotter. uwu
Bean's feet have a pretty unique shape, big balls of the soles and toes, with a relatively small heel. I suppose it's not very easy to tell that by this render, but I'm sure the unique shape will come have it's time to shine eventually~
Also, remember when I said that I wanted Bean to wear shoes without socks? Well, here's why. Another trait I wanted his feet to have is that they *smell*. Seems fitting that the funni cartoon woodpecker is the one to have smelly feet out of the group. Of course, the explicit smellyness of any foot I render depends on the render, anyone's feet can be smelly if requested by the commissioner, same applies to Bean... But you know, I like adding character quirks and traits to each character, even if they don't get used much, like how Shadow's feet are supposed to be rough, Sonic be more shy around girls and Knuckles being comedy relief without him really trying to.
This is also the first time I've tried properly rendered visible smell. In the past, all visible smell effects I've done were done in post. I'm not a huge fan of visible smell myself, but this was a gift for a friend that does like it a lot, so it was fun to try it out and see how well it works~

I approve of this visible smell highly! -////- It certainly suits Bean's smelliness foot trait since you mentioned it, plus he dares to not wear socks! Which only means that compared to other Sonic characters you've worked with, his definitely have a 'kick' to them after hours within his footwear. Pretty sure that its coated within his shoes too, to the point that even if he didn't wear them for days, a small dose of the smell would linger always. And when he slips his feet back into them, those slender heels resting against the insoles, then the sweat glands and the smell trapped within the footwear would reboot within minutes, leaving his feet and the rest of the caverns of footwear potent. Its pretty rad he likes the smell of his own feet to sniff them. -/////- Seeing the visible smell be more of a fog like appearance was a good idea. Certainly adds the charm that its rather 'free flowing' and pervading every which way from the opening of his shoes. You made Bean the Dynamite look exactly like how I remember in the Sonic the Fighters game (not that I ever got to play it, just saw it in Chuckie E. Cheese arcades back then) And the look of his smelly feet being bulkier on the top and slimming out near the bottom give his feet a unique build to them. Quite love it when characters have varying foot builds and traits to define their feet along with their actual looks and personalities.
He's just sucking in his own ripe shoe smell, and closing his eyes to soak it all in better. His toes scrunch in pleasure as he gets to bemuse himself in his own intoxicating 'aroma'. And his shoes are so glossy, and yet from looking rather close, they have slight imperfections. I can see slight scuffs on them, likely to mark that his shoes do go worn a lot, and he just tries to take care of them so they don't look too beat up. (..not that tattered shoes aren't appealing in their own right -///-) Good work Feety!

Well I certainly unfortunately haven't been able to comment nearly as much as I used to since life pulled the rug from under me years ago and hasn't relented since really, but I still want to give my thoughts when I can and with the energy I have. I'd definitely like to compliment people's artwork more, much like Feety's here. (heck, in terms of 3D modeling, I'm rarely a fan of it in the kinky regard as overall it looks strange to me, but Feety makes it work very well) I wouldn't say I spice things up though, I just get excited and kinda vomit said excitement out of my mind as words just come to me. But I do appreciate that my words are not strange to read to you, but instead enjoyable.
