As much as Borgon wishes otherwise, the life of a ruler is full of commitments, and it's already very difficult to carve out some free time for oneself, without giving up on meals or sleep.
However, the dragon prince never forgets special occasions, and always finds a way to be close to his friends, at least in thought.
We are at the end of March, and the princedom of Valmeridia is in turmoil for the imminent arrival of spring.
There is a lot to do in preparation for the season which will see the sunny hills fill with flowers,
and the trees load with buds that, with a little luck, would turn into tasty fruit in the following seasons.
However, there is another recurrence on the way. The birthday of a distant friend,
coming from lands far beyond the sea that bathes the coasts of Valmeridia.
Prince Borgon would really like to travel to surprise him,
but he knows he can't leave his lands now that there is so much to do.
And so he instructs Silva to prepare a very special gift from him for his friend Shey.
Several days later, a little box is delivered by a messenger right in front of the shark's house.
Even if the dragon will not be there to enjoy the scene, he can well imagine in his mind the expression of surprise that will surely appear on Shey's face as soon as he unwraps his gift!
"Aah ..." Borgon sighs on Shey's birthday, as he sits thoughtfully on his throne during a quiet moment. "He'll kill me for sure, but it was totally worthy!"
