A short story that I wrote for the Antheria Conbook. I submitted it at the last minute and figured that I had lost my chance. Imagine my surprise when I received a letter saying that I had been featured.
The theme of this convention's first year was Greek/Roman Empire so I made a little tongue in cheek story featuring the Greek Gods. I wish Antheria all the best and hope there are many years of the con to follow.

Thank you ^^ I was being sneaky and making the story purposefully very encouraging for future attendance and sort of the official "welcome" to the con. I'm not sure where the story was placed since I haven't received a copy of the conbook yet but I'm hoping it would have been put near the front. Regardless it was fun to write and having it featured was a definite bonus :3
Yeah, I thought that the gods depending on the con was a good touch. Loved the little joke about the lion not being Zeus' 'this time', that one perfectly suited him and his history. With how it is, I'm thinking putting it up in the front would be a good idea too, seems like it would be a good story to start with.
This is very good. I'm kind of a fan of the greek/roman periods, and you nailed the gods perfectley, the beginnings of an affair between Ares and Aphrodite, Hephestus oblivious to the hurt he is going to have and his love for craftsmanship, Hera and her annoyance with Zues, And Zues, well, he's just a horny lion. good job on getting it in the book.
