One Halloween, the town I lived in held a "Stuffed Animal Masquerade Contest." Contestants were supposed to dress up their plush toys for prizes. There was no age limit to the contest, so I entered my Combo Cub plushie and attended the event in costume.

I really wasn't expecting to win anything, so imagine my surprise when Combo was awarded the ribbon for "Best Dressed Overall." The prize was a free ticket to the local county fair, which we went to on the following night. Fun times.
