It seems that Yumi and Agatha were making too much noise, which ended up waking Yumi’s mother, the Vaymori goddess Navkona. Ignoring her warnings, the wolf and collie duo continued their all-night session of mischief and video games, quickly interrupted by being snatched up by Nav’s long, slender tongue, and gulped down into the dark, gurgly depths of her first stomach. Unknown to Agatha, Vaymori have two stomachs, the first one mainly used for carrying their pups during inter-dimensional travel, and completely safe. I’m sure eventually she’ll calm down long enough for Yumi to explain.

I’d imagine they’re to help her food slide easily into the next stomach for digestion. But since Vaymori is a species that YumiAkiyama created, I’m not too familiar with how their digestive system works :p
