Baked potatoes are actually the most common cause of botulism if I recall correctly. Something about using aluminum foil on them and not taking it off at the right time, I think, but I can't be assed to Google it.

actually I believe botulism is caused by improperly canned goods. and is quite deadly. once you get it you have a 10% chance of living. I did a 24 page paper over it before.
