so Pathfinder is kind of smashing it out of the park with the worldbuilding lately, huh?

This is Anchor Root, an NPC from Paizo's adventure path "Strength of Thousands", and a student at a school for magic! But not that one. I knew as soon as I heard about her that I'd love her. Have I played that adventure path, or anything Pathfinder at all? No. Do I still love this chronically-anxious magical schoolgirl with all my heart? Absolutely.

She's what's called an "ant gnoll", which are halfling-sized gnolls based on aardwolves-- perfect for her, since you look at a picture of a real-life aardwolf and go, "yeah that thing has anxiety."
