This years update included fully rubbery skin, which lends itself towards cartoon physics in several ways.
This being one.
I think it can go about 2 feet before it tears, but since they're ultimately made of goo the pieces can be pressed back together and the seams will disappear... or melt and be absorbed, it doesn't make a difference to me.
