It had been 3 days since you and your dragon friend Zephyr had entered this new mysterious crystal world. Zephyr was still struggling to make a decision about being the new Crystal Tailor and save a kingdom he barely knew about until now. In the meantime you've been trying to figure out where the rest of your human teammates are in the mountains. You were sitting down and looking through some old maps when Victor and Zephyr entered the room. They had just finished another training session.

"Oui, You are definitely improving your skills Master Zephyr." he said in his french accent. Zephyr blushed and shook his head "Nah, I just get lucky that's all. Also you don't have to call me master, Victor." Zephyr said between breaths.

Victor chuckled " That's all the training for today. Do you two need anything else before I return to my post ?" he asked but both shook your heads no. After that Victor returned to his guard duties. Zephyr sighed as he removed his dragon armor. You could see just how sweaty his bum is. "How do you think we should approach it? I know you want to keep going so that you can get home faster but what if they find us ?" Zephyr asked you. You sighed too " I don't like thinking about how we got stuck here but...it could be worse. We could've died a few times already." you replied. The thought made you shudder. It's not something you'd ever forget.

"I'm still trying to figure out where our team is. We shouldn't have split up from them. What if..." You trembled before Zephyr laid his head on your lap.

" Hey...It'll work out ! No one could predict that we'd get here trying to save a hidden kingdom." Zephyr reassured you and gave your nose a tiny lick.
You smiled and pet him "You're right...and thank you. But I wish there was more we could do." You continued running your fingers over Zephyr's back. He looked at you with big eyes. You smiled and leaned forward to kiss his forehead. Suddenly Zephyr got an idea.

"Hey ! Why don't we try to search for them in the caves ? I mean a few of them should still be open right ? and connect to the other caves !" Zephyr suggested. You raised your eyebrow at him. This might actually help if you want to get home faster.
"Are you sure? I mean the caves might not even be accessible anymore since the whole thing fell apart. And if any monsters attack us while we're searching there could be-"
"Don't worry, I'm willing to take full responsibility if anything happens. Besides, I really think that exploring these caves would help us learn a lot more about this place." Zephyr answered.
You bit your lip. How could you say no to a face like that? Your cheeks flushed "Well..alright! Let's go then !" You said.

You and your dragon buddy were off ! You brought your bag of crystals just in case Zephyr needed to power up. After an hour or two you both managed to find a cave and began checking all the tunnels. You found yourself in the middle of a large cavern with a strange symbol carved into the wall of the cave.
Zephyr walked around the area before stopping in front of it. "Hmm...maybe this will give us a clue about where the others are." He said examining the symbol. He noticed a small crack under it which could possibly lead deeper into the caves.
You were about to suggest that it could just be a regular rock. However, a loud sound interrupted your conversation. Your eyes widened as they widened from shock. There were multiple flashes of light coming from the entrance leading deeper into the mountain. You and Zephyr glanced at each other before entering the entrance of deeper caves.

Zephyr's belly gurgled a bit and he ripped a series of small, loud and putrid poots. You wafted away the smell as best you could.

"Zephyr !!" you yelled but the dragon chuckled.

"Sorry, My tummy still hasn't adjusted to the food here besides my farts won't hurt anyone."
You rolled your eyes playfully at Zephyr's statement. You stopped by the side of a small pond filled with a red glowy substance. "I wonder what that is." you mumbled.
"What?!" Zephyr exclaimed "We haven't seen any water yet. Which is a bit odd considering that there's tons of crystals and a castle garden."

Zephyr sniffed the liquid before taking a sip. He immediately gagged, but before you could ask what was wrong he let out a fart again, but this fart was deep sounding and a red cloud came out his butt.
Your jaw dropped at the scene and started to laugh uncontrollably. Zephyr laughed along with you before wiggling his butt "Oh man that felt good! I need to stop doing that." He said, laughing.
Suddenly a loud crash echoed through the cavern making you jump. " Come on, We can worry about this strange liquid later !" you said before hopping onto Zephyr's back and flying deeper into the cave towards the echo. You both entered a strange chamber. Most of the crystals here are blue, but then you noticed your human teammate from the camp dangling from one of the stalactites. You screamed and ran to their side.
"Guys!! Can someone please come untangle me?" they shouted in pain.
Zephyr jumped down from the platform and ran to where their rope was tied. You helped them untangle themselves before getting up.
"Y/n!! Zephyr!!" Phoebe shouted happily from her spot. "Is everyone okay?" she asked worriedly.
Phoebe ran over to you and hugged you tightly. You were stunned by the sudden action before hugging her back. She looked up at you, her brown eyes glistening with tears. "What happened ?" you asked her and she pointed at the hole in the ceiling of the cave. "After you two left some kind of sinkhole opened up underneath me and I fell down here and got stuck for days !"
You gasped and turned your head towards Phoebe "That sounds horrible! Is there any way to fix it? Or to get out of here?"
She shook her head "No. All we can do is to wait it out...until you guys arrive." Phoebe sobbed in your arms.

"Well we could all go back the way we came--" Zephyr pointed in the direction of the entrance but it was now mysteriously blocked off. "Well...Oh ! Maybe a crystal can get us out of this ?" Zephyr suggested. You dug around in your bag and gave Zephyr an indigo crystal. He took it and ate it, just like before indigo sparks fell from his mouth as he chewed and his green scales glewed indigo and sparkly. Phoebe was amazed and you explained to her about Zephyr's new found powers. As you finished explaining Phoebe wiped away a few stray tears "So...what now?"
The three of you stood there for a while trying to figure out what to do next. Suddenly Zephyr felt his tummy rumble again and he got an idea. He turned around towards you two and farted out two bubbles that fit you and Phoebe inside. The inside of the bubbles reeked but you both floated out of the hole. Zephyr flew up right behind you both.

"Now, Let's make sure no one else falls down there." Zephyr said before opening his jaws and blasting the hole with an ice beam. Large ice crystals grew out of the hole and sealed it shut. You and Phoebe hopped onto Zephyr's back and flew back towards the castle.

" Are the others okay ?" Phoebe asked, but you just shrugged and explained to her that you still didn't know where they were. When you all arrived at the throne room the plan was to ask King Wilkos to return Phoebe to the mainland. Phoebe however thought about the whole situation a little longer before deciding against it. In order for her to be able to see you all she needed to be present to hear the news. So, instead of asking the King about returning her she decided to use this opportunity to gather information and help out anyway she could. King Wilkos entered the room. Phoebe was intimated at first but then asked the king if she could stay to at least help find the other 3 members of the team.
"I suppose so, as long as we keep things under control. I'm sure there will be plenty of time to save them soon enough." King Wilkos replied, nodding his head slowly.
Phoebe sighed in relief "Thank you."

Victor was summoned and escorted her to another room in the castle. Shortly after Zephyr's indigo crystal powers wore off and he returned to his normal form. King Wilkos then asked Zephyr to leave the room to speak with you privately. Zephyr seemed confused but nodded and left you alone with the king.

"Have you been documenting the effects of the crystals on Zephyr ?" The king asked.
You nodded "Yeah! It's not that different from how it looks. Only now do I have some more insight on what it means." You explained.
Wilkos crossed his legs and leaned back in his chair before turning back towards you "Then tell me everything you have discovered about them."
You did exactly as he commanded and described the effects of the crystals as well as you had observed. Once your story ended Wilkos smiled "No one has been able to document the abilities that each crystal has, but perhaps you could be the first since you seem to be very close to Zephyr."
You shook your head slightly, a little bit embarrassed "It doesn't matter right now. He needs my help finding the rest of the team. Besides, I am quite interested in learning more about the crystals myself."
"Very well then. I must warn you though, they may not answer your questions. If you have any hidden in your heart." The King's words resonated with you. You were then dismissed and wrote down the powers of each crystal on the way back to your room.

Orange is Energy, Pink is Nature, and Indigo is Ice. They are powerful and only exist to aid those who are strong.
When you reached your room you collapsed into bed exhausted. You quickly fell asleep before you even knew it.
