Hello there again! This drawing was inspired in the April Fools joke of this year on Derpibooru were they "transformed the site" to get the uploaded pictures as "NFTs". I really loved the joke, it was also curious the badge they gave and how you had to obtain it. So, I thought it would be funny to extend this concept of the joke to a padded drawing. When I had the idea it was 100% obvious which pony was going to appear on it and how the scene was going to look :3 It was simply too obvious and pretty silly of course hehe.
This artwork was mainly easy to do, a simple posture, a simple diaper, a simple background, all of that made it pretty easy (in relative terms, it still required a few hours to be done), but it was also interesting how I had to design this curious symbol of the "Diaper coins" without wasting a lot of time or how I made this effect of the diaper package being smashed, so I could say that I still learnt a couple of interesting things in the process even if it was a simple and silly artwork hehe. Remember, never stop learning stuff!! :3
So... Are you ready to get some Diaper Coins as Maud has already done? :3 Rumors say that this is going to be the future :P

I would have loved to know about this currency in this art peice for speculation if anyone is interested into forming any ideas. I'm genuinely asking for - what one may be able to create, if this wern't 'a joke' picture and more-so an idea for universe insperation. (not trying to be a downer or rude) I would actually be curious in what this idea can help inspire.
Yeah, that would be curious indeed, but honestly I don't think this currency could be used for too much more apart of speculation and maybe like a kind of coupon to buy more diapers or baby stuff. But, yeah, if someone else have a more creative and interesting idea, it would be nice to know.
<LoL!> Nice job in making the NFT joke on Derpyboru into a fun, padded piece with everyone's favorite rock enthusiast, Maud Pie.

I am still trying to better understand what an NFT is. What makes me struggle with it is how I best understand something when it is compared and contrasted against something else in which I am familiar with.
Right now, given what I know, an NFT is like a domain name on the internet. People can claim art in a way that people may acquire multiple web site names in the hopes of selling them for a profit.
I am sure I will better understand NFTs as time progresses. If you may have a good way to compare, or contrast, an NFT to something else, I would love to hear your description of the controversial concept.

I am really enjoying how I am getting more regular in commenting on current and past works by you, Sweetie. I hope to keep this going on now that Lucca is living with me. He has really helped in getting me better organized. He also does his art and internet activities while I work on getting employment, catch up on submissions, and start to write stories that I have wanted to write.

I also love how you can comment more frequently in my submissions Yosh and that always cheers me up a lot n.n
Well, I'm not an expert at all, but as far as I know, NFTs are digital certificates used to demonstrate the authenticity of digital files as the original ones, like pictures or texts. The idea is that this works like government offices dedicated to make sure that documentation, art and other stuff is legitimate, but using block chain technology for that. That's the basic idea, the trouble is that NFTs are currently used to speculate and scam people with a supposed imaginary future where that stuff is going to have a big price and make a lot of stuff. They are also being used to inflate artificially the value of the cryptocurrency associated to them or presumably for money laundering. The worst part probably is that they're being used as a way to steal art, since people can basically buy random NFTs or simply create them without artist permission and later one they can "claim" that the art belongs to them or sell them for big amounts of money while the original artists doesn't receive a single penny.
So, for the moment, the information I have is that NFTs are basically a big scam with rich speculators behind and without a serious practical use in the present, a thing that for now sells future promises that it is still pending to see if they are real or not.
Also, digital artists, especially those who pay the bills with their art, feel pretty nervous with this because they're getting into a vulnerable position. Some innocent people is, for example, buying NFTs to random scammers instead of paying it to the real artists because they think they are supporting them with that.
I think this is pretty much the overall landscape. As I have said, I'm not an expert and I'm only telling you what I have heard from several sources.
