Back to the salt mines of public-domain comic books. In Supermouse #8 --- https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=74573 --- there's the story ``Northern Visitor'', a Tommy Turtle vehicle. This is the little lost seal that's the center of the story. The original art is on page 25 of the book. Since there was so little color to add, I could also add some background and some reflections to help the seal look more solid. I chose, I swear, to have the color of the background not quite match the line art. I wanted that effect.
