I’ve gone by agender for.. a while? But I’ve been thinking a lot for a long time and.. came out as trans a few days ago lmao
My preferred pronouns are still it/its, and they/them is fine for the people that have gotten comfortable with it, but he/him has been added to the list

Just don't rush into making any permanent surgical changes to your body until you're absolutely sure this is really what you want, and isn't something you might change your mind about later. If you plan to go on hrt, just make sure you know all the risks before starting it. Taking testosterone will leave you infertile, massively increase the risk of cancer, and being pumped full of hormones frequently causes anger management disorders. I'm sure your doctor will discuss all this with you, and if they don't they're definitely not a good doctor.
People shouldn't just jump into transitioning with their eyes closed, only having this dreamy unrealistic fantasy of what life will be like living as a man that doesn't examine any of the negatives, or any of the problems with hormone therapy and surgeries. Then when the reality doesn't match expectations, and it doesn't instantly cure all feelings of depression people can end up worse off than before. So I think it's very necessary.
They literally said they had no interest, so no, every single thing you said has been completely unnecessary and unwarranted from the start. Do you constantly run up to strangers on the street and make wild assumptions about what they want to do with their bodies and then give them unwanted medical advice and opinions under the assumption they don’t know anything at all?
When it comes to HRT and surgery I think it's important that people have a full and realistic understanding of the path they're going down before they make irreversible decisions. With all due respect, I know many trans people, and think many have unrealistic expectations. Additionally I think it's sad that you can't have an actual discussion about this without people trying to shout you down and insult you.
If they'd said in the journal they had no interest in hrt and surgery then I wouldn't have said anything. So I said my piece, and they told me they weren't planning on doing the things that concern me. So I said no more. What's your problem with that? Your comparison of this to running up to a stranger on the street to insult them is itself insulting to both me for suggesting that's what I'm doing, and to you for saying something so mindless, and indeed unnecessary.
Not everyone on the internet who has anything to say about transitioning that isn't merely "congratulations!" Is doing it because they have set an agenda to be a jerk to trans people. Please don't assume the worst in people. And I'll try to extend that courtesy to you.
