My running bum fluff, this is the photo I took of her this morning , I’m at work right now and I’m not sure if I want to be there when she is put down, my heart is just aching so much.

Definitely one of the hardest days in a pet lover's life -- the day you have to say farewell. It hurts even thinking about typing "goo ..." No I can't. Thoughts are with you on this very trying day. I'd give warm horsey nuzzles, but I know that won't even come close to being enough. Still ... I'll give them.
I know how it feels buddy.
My 18-year old buddy was put down a couple of years ago in January and I still miss the fellow so terribly.
But it is part of life and what's most important is to remember the good times you two have spent with each other.
You need to be strong when your friend will move on to the land beyond.
Once it's over, treasure the good memories and make sure to think about something else when you get hit by the sorrow.
Spend time with some close friends or relatives and let them support you through this hardship.
Eventually you will be able to think about your friend again with happy memories alone.
Until that day, be strong buddy!
