Lately, I’ve been trying to get better in my art skills, so I made a challenge for myself. Pretty much I tasked myself to make a reference sheet for every of my characters that doesn’t have one. Since I have 50+ characters and half of them don’t have a ref, it’s been a hassle and why I haven’t posted. But, I have 3 refs done already and plan on posting them soon. First up is my Dutchie gal, Angelica! I changed her face a little to be longer and somewhat horse-like. Her wings are also now attached to her back since I wasn’t feeling the detached chibi wings. And now, I finally got some info of her done.

Personality

Angelica is as bubbly and extroverted as they come. She loves getting to know people and is a pro at striking up a good, engaging conversation with others. Having a very maternal nature, she’s often described as a mom-friend and has known to be stern in multiple situations when danger is a factor. However, the negative side to this is that she can be rather brash and over-assertive. While typically not aggressive, she has been reported to sport a very mean, fiery temper, which has been the unfortunate cause of many serious fires.
On the bright side, she is incredibly passionate in her beliefs and protecting her family, even becoming vengeful if ever she or her loved ones are threatened. However, on the more common part of her personality, she is outgoing, supportive, sassy, and a little on the petty side.

Fire Manipulation

Angelica can create, shape, control, generate and manipulate every form/type of fire. She can also completely control the temperature of the fire at will. The fire she manipulates can be used as blasts, projectiles, bombs, streams, pillars, waves, and spheres.

Fire Breath

She can generate and manipulate fire within her in a way that allows her to shape the exhaling of the effect. These shapes can include bursts, blasts, streams, beams, spits, and spheres.

Levitation

Like other Dutchies, she can make herself hover/float in the air unassisted, allowing her to seamlessly float in the air and prevent her body from making contact with the ground below.

Self-Reincarnation

Another ability of all Dutchies, Angelica is able to revive herself upon “death“ after some time. This ability allows her to regenerate lost limbs, change her fur pattern/color, or start as a blank slate. The real purpose of this ability is simply to alter physical appearances, but uses for limb growth and resurrection is possible as well.

EXTRA MISC FACT(S)

• Her small wings are able to shift into fully sized wings meant for flying. She keeps her wings in a smaller state for better mobility and speed.

• She lacks a digestive system, reproductive system, and lungs. Anything she eats is converted into energy and not waste, as Dutchies lack an anus. This means that she is physically incapable of breathing, digesting food, or breeding.

• She's big on pranks, and often times assists Reyes and even Gaze with pranking others, provided no one is seriously harmed during the prank. Which is why she only pulls pranks with Gaze on special occasions.

• Like the rest of her species, Angelica is ageless/immortal. She isn’t really 127, it’s just a random age number she chose for herself since for a while she didn’t really understand how mortal age worked.

• Since Angelica can change the markings of her coat, as it is a trait of her kind, the mark between her eyes wasn’t always there. She actually underwent the phoenix reincarnation process and copied the mark of her wife, Honey, after marrying her. It is her way of showing they are partners without a ring.
