*added* The icon I'm using is from ScarperDeage on Deviantart http://scaperdeage.deviantart.com/a.....0x100-97787766 . I especially like it because when I first created Kia, she was meant to be a character in a White Wolf roleplaying game. Since then, she's gone through many changes, but I like to remember her roots.

Well now, you have an excellent and wonderful start. An interesting approach in anthropomorphism and cultural traits gives this promise.
The brother and sister have appealing foundation traits for growth and interest with the audience.
It would be nice to see more of this.

As Helix said, this is an excellent start. You've already fleshed out an interesting culture that spans both halves of the human/animal divide and has potential for many interesting and exciting stories. The writing itself is solid and enjoyable. I'm looking forward to seeing where you plan to go with this.
