I recently took a trip to Seattle for Rainfurrest and did a shitfuckerton of drawings. Mostly on the 56 hour train rides there and back. Here's the first batch of many.

Might be caused by chromatic aberration--the same phenomenon of different frequencies of light having different refractive indices through many substances that causes rainbows and prisms. It's much larger with my glasses than the lenses in my eyes, or at least more noticeable: I can make a red-blue boundary appear to overlap or have a void between by a very large amount just by moving my view to the edge of my glasses, where the material is thickest.
