man, characters that get transformed in movies and stories must be wearing some of the cheapest clothes that are out there. okay, i can understand if it's a massive dragon transformation or some other beasts, but have their clothing ripped to shreds when their final form is barely any larger?
Just something i really wanted to put out there, i personally really enjoy putting in a bit of realism when i think about this stuff and thought "well, stuff like shoes, jeans, leather jackets are actually pretty tough, they're gonna withstand quite a bit of force, so what if they actually halt further transformation until they're removed?"

Interesting idea, so you can be relatively human until your clothes are too dirty and smelly to wear.
You can even protect your hands if you wear some gloves before starting to change. And a mask will save your face. But all non-covered parts are animlaistic ones.
There could be two variants: in one if you take off your shirt for a moment and change already starts, there are no way to stop it even if you return it back.
On a second, you can stop TF by human clothes, but because you have to replace it regularly, you will become feral eventually, just slower.
Yes, i'ts strange that most TFs into smaller animals contained ripping scenes. Foxes are much smaller then humans.
